My name’s Laura Douglas, I’m 34 years old and work in a shoe shop in Manchester. I’ve been size 12 for years but have not been totally satisfed with my body. The reason I had lipo was to get rid of the saggy bulge above and below my belly button. Despite numerous diets and hours at the gym, my tummy just wouldn’t budge. Until the day Christie, one of my best girlfriends, told me about liposculpture. She had lipo on her thighs and bottom at the ELYZEA Clinic in Brussels and it only took two hours!

Two months down the line, I was on a flight from Manchester to Brussels. Prior to the procedure Dr Marque told me that he expected to take away approximately 2 litres, finally he removed 3 litres! The whole procedure was completely painless and only took two hours. The 4 weeks following the procedure I had to wear a sort of corset around my tummy area.

The result now is stunning – A lovely flat tummy – A dream finally come true! Of course all my friends were impressed, and consequently two of them went on to do the same, they were both operated, on by Dr Levy in Brussels, with equally terrific results.I think the secret to a perfect result depends largely on the experience of the surgeon. Both Dr Levy and Dr Marque have 20 years of practical experience in liposculpture at the ELYZEA Clinic – that makes all the difference!

Of course I’ll continue to pay attention to my diet and do sport, I want to be certain that my tummy will never reappear; I have been reassured by my surgeon that all fat cells in this area have been removed!!

I hope by testifying here, others will find the courage to go ahead with the procedure.I know that lipo can’t work miracles, but it can certainly improve your shape and change your body’s proportions.Believe me - you don’t have to live with that unwanted fat for the rest of your life!

ELYZEA : The gastring banding TESTIMONIAL

For years I tried all sorts of diets and medication.

I also went to a slimming club.

Every time I lost weight, it all came back on and more!

I was so unhappy. I carried all that weight around with me. I wasn’t very nice to look at.

But anyway, I wanted the teacher to do the operation, not the students!!

Dr Focquet operated on me on the 9th of December 2003 in the ELYZEA clinic. To start with, the banding is put in place without tightening it. So in the first 5 weeks I hardly lost any weight. But as soon as the first adjustment was made, I well and truly made up for it! I lost 2 stone in the first 3 months, and 5 stone in the first 6 months. By then my weight had dropped to 12 stone.

I lost the last stone over the following 2 months to reach my target weight of 11 stone.

My life has really changed thanks to the ELYZEA clinic and GASTRIC BANDING.

Even my blood tests and cholesterol levels are normal again.

I am a new person starting a new life.

Of course, I have changed the way I eat because I realise that this will determine whether or not I put weight on.

I do lots of exercise, something I didn’t do before. I keep getting compliments from everyone. We’re going on holiday in a couple of weeks. It will be the first time I can show myself in a bikini!
