ELYZEA : Private Clinic for Cosmetic Surgery

Hello, my name is Natasja Meuleman. I’m 32 years old and after lengthy deliberation have decided to take the step and have a breast enlargement. After the birth of my little daughter, who I had at quite a young age (17), I was not happy with what was happening to my breasts. During my pregnancy, I thought the shape and size of my breasts were just right as they looked much better and more proportionate to my height. In the winter months, it didn’t bother me so much because I could easily hide behind my clothes but as soon as the summer was on its way, the problems started. I love the sun and hot weather and like to wear as little as possible or just my bikini, but every summer I start to think about what I can wear to make the best of myself over the summer months. If I don’t pad my bras, I have no cleavage and this is something I’m conscious of and worry about each and every day.

I obtained information about breast enlargement from various clinics and studied it all very carefully. Some of my friends had already taken the step and didn’t cease to amaze me with their stories, comments and experiences. These varied a great deal and were quite unnerving due to all the different problems they encountered and the big difference in prices. It is after all an invasive procedure that involves cutting into your healthy body, which cannot be taken lightly – and that’s why I put off making the final decision yet again.

Finally, after 12 years, I collected more information from several clinics and made some appointments so that I could find out more about the pros and cons of such a procedure in the right way. And that’s how I landed at ELYZEA clinic where I had my first consultation with Dr Adda. Feeling extremely nervous I stepped into his office to let happen what will. The surgeon saw straightaway that I was really nervous so he made a real effort to make me feel comfortable. He told me very calmly and concisely about the pros and cons and explained exactly what I could expect from the clinic. Because I was given all the information I needed and because I felt at ease very quickly, I made an appointment on the spot for surgery 2 months later.

The operation was performed in Brussels to where I had travelled the day before so that I wouldn’t get stuck in any traffic jams and could arrive at the clinic both rested and relaxed. The secretary had given me the information I needed to book a room in a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of the clinic. It was great not to be in a rush on the morning of the op.

On arrival, I was shown to a separate room were I was told about what was going to happen, and where I was marked up for the surgery. Here too, the doctors soon noticed how nervous I was and were quick to reassure me that it would be over before I knew it and that I had nothing to worry about. Soon after, I went into the operating theatre and laid myself down on the operating table where they put me on a drip. The last thing I remembered was that they began to wash my breasts with antibiotics before the operation, and then I fell asleep and woke up with what I had wanted for years. Unfortunately I couldn’t see anything because I was all wrapped up in a sturdy sports bra.

After having rested for half an hour to wake up properly, and a final check-up, I was allowed to go home to my hotel. For the first six weeks I wore a sturdy sports bra and had to rest a lot to allow myself to recover. I noticed an improvement every day and after the first four weeks I could start to gently build up my activity to the level I was used to.

The surgery that had frightened me so much went extremely well in the end. I did have some pain afterwards, that’s only normal, but it got better every day so I felt positive about my recovery. I would do it all over again and definitely in the same clinic. Last week I had my final check-up with my surgeon. It enjoyed it very much. I could fire any question at him that I wanted about how I was feeling and what I could expect in the future. He put my mind at rest with answers to all my questions. I am extremely happy with such fantastic results.
