The patient can usually return home the same day.

At the end of surgery, tampons are inserted in the nostrils and an external bandage (plaster) is applied. The plaster cast is removed after about 10 days. AFTER SURGERY After the operation, you will have no pain. You can suffer the same kind of discomfort when breathing as you do when you have a bad cold. The nose runs and the eyes are swollen for about a week.
The bruising turns yellow before disappearing after about 10 days. In some cases, the nose can remain sensitive and swollen for a while longer. When the plaster cast is removed, your new nose will still be swollen and will gradually take on its final shape over the next year. You will, however, already have a good idea of your new look in about two months.
You should avoid strenuous physical activity for 2 months and the sun for 3 months. Also avoid, if possible, wearing glasses with a heavy frame (this could damage the newly formed bridge of the nose).
